The Accelitech team will be leading a session on Stereotactic Radiosurgery (“SRS”) in Tucson, AZ being held on February 23rd and 24th. In attendance will be industry leaders including physicians and hospital executives from across the country.

Demand for SRS as a cancer treatment modality has grown dramatically over the past decade and is expected to continue well into the future. Driven by continued advances in targeting, precision and length of treatment, demand from both patients and physicians continues to grow. Further SRS represents a strong business opportunity for those hospitals and physicians who take advantage of these technologies.

Accelitech has been called upon to lead the SRS session at Outpatient Outlook because of their unique breadth and depth of experience in creating stereotactic radiaosurgery programs through joint ventures. “The session will focus on helping those institutions currently considering SRS technology to understand the issues, challenges and risks associated with this emerging technology and provide meaningful solutions to address them”, says Scott Milligan, Chief Development Officer of Accelitech.

The session has been designed to provide an overview of the past, current and future of the SRS industry including legal, financial, market and clinical trends. Further, participants will be led through case studies involving common market situations for which they will work together to make SRS strategic decisions.

“This is our second year as a participant in the Outpatient Outlook Conference and we are thrilled to be included” says Kerwin Brandt, CEO of Accelitech. “This is becoming an event that must be attended to remain current in our rapidly changing field”.
